Beginning of World War 2
In 1939 the World War began. It all started off when Adolf Hitler, a Nazi party Leader, wanted revenge for losing the world war I and also wanted his country to be the most rich county in the world! At first Hitler went into Poland to take over the land. After the World War I England, Poland and France had made an agreement saying that if a country started to attack one of the countries, the other countries would try and defend them from danger. So Hitler had a major Problem ahead!! Britain Knew that Hitler no sooner or later would start a war. So they began to prepare for the battle. Children and some women were evacuated from the big cities into the countryside. People carried gas masks to protect themselves and built air raid shelters. Some air raid shelters were built at the back of a garden and some were built inside the houses. Soon later Neville chamberlain, the prime minister of Britain, give an amount of time for the Germans to remove his troops from Poland. However Hitler did not remove his troops from Poland and England declared war against Germany.
